Democrats Again Exposed as Phonies

Democrats really let their true colors show during Trump’s joint address to congress. Much has already been said about their insolent and childish behavior such as that utterly ridiculous paddle production. Whosever idea that was is suffering from major TDS.

But what I really want to talk about is their reaction or lack of to DJ Daniels being honored during the session. The vast majority of Democrats refused to stand and applaud the thirteen year old boy who has already undergone thirteen operations for his ongoing battle with brain cancer. What is the point of Trump honoring this kid on such a stage and for those on the other side to stand and applaud? It’s to give him positive energy. It’s to say: “We are with you!” “We believe in you!” “You can overcome this battle!” It’s giving him the emotional support to push on. Can you imagine if the entire room stood up and applauded for him—how much more positive energy DJ could have received? But the Democrats chose not to.

For a party that markets itself as the party of compassion; as the party for minorities and the “disenfranchised,” they certainly have a lot of explaining to do. The simple truth is they aren’t anything they claim to be. They talk a big game but it's just smoke & mirrors. They only care about themselves. Think about this: They were unwilling to stand and applaud DJ to help him overcome his battle with cancer but they gathered together at the end of the session to self-reflexively sing “We Shall Overcome.”
